Vuurmeesters organises often Tadelakt-workshops..

For this event we invite Martin Krampfer from the German concern Kreidezeit. He is a specialist in the area of organic paint and tadelakt. Martin is the author of several leading books on these subjects.

Martin Krampfer will tell you more about the popular and beautiful Tadelakt at the start of the workshop.

Tadelakt is an ancient technique used for plastering. It originates from Morocco and is used to make surfaces watertight and shock-resistant.

The mortar is applied on the surface using masonry tools. Then it’s time to compress the mortar using special polishing stones.
A creative and labour-intensive process!

The workshop is meant not only for professional builders but also for interested DIY’ ers.
The languages mainly used during this workshop will be German and Dutch.

During the workshop there will not only be big surfaces to work on. Every participant can make his or her own trial-sample. We have the materials required for that available.
